it’s been a while since the last newsletter was published, I was quite busy, so let’s go through all that is new now 🙂 The major thing of last month was the release of a new version – Meteotemplate 9.0 Avocado.
I have also re-designed the Blocks page. It was nice but only when there were around 10-20 blocks… as there are now well over 100 blocks available I felt the page needs change, I hope you like the new design and also find it easier to use.
One thing I would like to also say is that based on the download log I see many people are using the template locally on their PC. If you are one of them, then I would be happy if you could send me an email with just your station co-ordinates and I will also add you to the user map, having the page online is not a condition for being included there!
Last but not least I would really like to once again thank to those of you who helped to support this project by making a small donation. It is becoming more and more difficult for me now to raise enough because I already had to upgrade my hosting plan twice due to the popularity this has gained.
Feel absolutely free to download the template, install it, and then, if you plan to continue using it and can afford it, any help is appreciated and I can assure you I use all the money towards the covering the direct costs and even if I made more I would probably reduce the time I spend in my part-time job and use it to provide support or for development. I want to also assure you this project will remain free (donationware), but if you download a new block/plugin/template and like it and as I emphasized – can afford it – then every little helps. I would love to pay for it myself, but unfortunately I am not in a position where I could afford it either.
