Hi guys,

it is great to see that there is now 700 known users who installed Meteotemplate. Given I have not invested a single cent towards marketing Meteotemplate is spread purely by “word of mouth” or rather links in the footer.

Also, I very much welcome if you let people know at for example regional forums in your home country – in such case you can send me a link and I would watch that forum in case someone needs help. Or if you simply know someone with a weather station who you think might find the template useful, feel free to tell them to contact me if they don´t know how to install it themselves.

  2. I totally agree with Gregs comment. You can learn a lot by looking at anothers site.
    But we may not forget one important thing: to keep Meteotemplate alive users need to support the developer also in a financial way. Life is not free, even in the Czech Republic 😉
    So especially, when you like the template or received help from the developer, don’t forget to donale a small amount. Is isn’t that most of us are not willing to donate but we may simply forget.

  3. Hey congrats that is awesome news. Keep up the great work people with your help we can make this an outstanding weather template for weather hobbiests everywhere. I alway continue to look at the user map on the site to see how others are using and expanding on the use of the template. I noticed a lot of links to websites that do not exist anymore. Please check your link on main site to ensure others can see it. Let Jachyme know to make corrections to those links. The Users List helps other see how to best use the template. Thanks

    congratulations, I really enjoy using your template and appreciate all you do. I also hope other people realize how much of your free time you put into this despite your very limited hardware and time. Your support is absolutely unbeatable and I also hope people realize your ongoing costs and time invested into this and help you out financially from time to time as well.

      thanks for a very nice comment, I am glad you like Meteotemplate. Money is not my primary goal, but I will not pretend it does not help and it is in fact the only source of incomes and maybe one day will allow me to upgrade my HW or even reduce part-time job and spend more time with something useful (which my part-time job definitely isnt :D)
