I have developed another new block. This block shows the current lightning strikes on a map. Map is available for each continent or for the whole world. In the settings you set the default map loaded. The image also auto-updates automatically without refresh on the homepage and you can also set this update interval in the settings.
The block gets data from the Blitzortung network and is used with permission.
