I created a new plugin, which uses the NCDC daily data from the whole world.
This plugin allows you to specify a station(s) and the plugin will download climate data from the National Climate Data Center (NCDC) and calculate the daily and monthly normals and compare them with your station. The parameters included are temperature (avg, max, min) and precipitation. This also depends on data availability. Data is cached so it will only load the information the first time you load it and then it will be much faster.
Main features:
- daily and monthly normals for any number of stations + absolute min and max
- comparison with your station (deviation etc.)
- information presented using interactive, resizable graphs as well as sortable tables
