{"id":1137,"date":"2016-09-20T14:10:39","date_gmt":"2016-09-20T12:10:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/meteotemplate.com\/blog\/?p=1137"},"modified":"2016-09-20T14:10:39","modified_gmt":"2016-09-20T12:10:39","slug":"plugin-update-webcam-2-0","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/meteotemplate.com\/blog\/?p=1137","title":{"rendered":"Plugin Update &#8211; Webcam 2.0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi guys,<\/p>\n<p>I have updated the webcam plugin.<\/p>\n<p>This is a major update, which includes the following changes\/new features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>creates a daily video timelapse<\/strong> from the available images (interval between looping the images can be set up in the settings)<\/li>\n<li><strong>possibility to set recording only during\u00a0day time<\/strong> (from one hour before sun rise to one hour after sun set, i.e. no images saved during night time)<\/li>\n<li>now uses the new <strong>auto-CRON<\/strong> feature introduced in version 9 (uses the unified cron.php)<\/li>\n<li><strong>optimizations and minor bug fixes<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>MAKE SURE YOU CAREFULLY READ AND FOLLOW THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are updating this plugin then also make sure that you DO NOT\u00a0replace the entire plugin folder! All your already existing images are inside it so make sure you DO NOT touch the images folder inside this plugin directory!!! Also, make sure that before you run the index page you first go through the setup via your Control panel. There are some changes in the script so unless you save the new settings file, your index will not work.
