I moved and built a new ubunto 24.04 vm installed Php
Installed Mysql 5.7 added mysqli and Curl
Used the install from my Florida Meteotemplate Cranberry which was working
I changed the url in Template1/config.php to reflect new time zone, domain name and have left everything else
I created just the scheme in mysql to reflect the database it should connect to also the username and password i have in config.php
I have a phpinfo in the template1 folder which I can connect to and all looks good there
I do not have https cert for it yet but I cant pull up any pages they are always blank using ?errors
Any ideas what I have missed ?
Permisions are 755
I can try a fresh install if that is my only option
What owner, group and permissions are you all using?
Install on new vm cant get past white pages

Re: Install on new vm cant get past white pages
Well this just got real intresting
I could not get past the white page even config.php so I went back to my vm that was at my old domain which did work
I created a new wesite pointing to the old website but using the new domain basically just another conf file
All worked pointing to both domains but only on my wifi
If i switch my phone or pc to vpn or put my phone on cell neither domin works cant be dns as i am typing in the domain name
Here is a screen shot but i bet you cant get to that domain jonesboroweather.com

Re: Install on new vm cant get past white pages
Well it does appear that my isp is blocking port 80 now but leaving 443 open
I do have a fiber line coming in but may be a couple weeks
This isp sucks
