Meteotemplate – Videotutorials

Hi guys,

because so many of you asked about this, I decided to try to make commented videotutorials of me installing the template. However, there are couple of points I would like you to please take into account, most importantly the fact I had to record everything in just a few hours in one go, with no possibility to re-record anything, and also the fact I am not a native speaker, so hopefully you will at least get the meaning.

• these videos should only be used as a supplement to the wiki, the wiki explains things in more detail and I cannot guarantee these videos will always be up-to-date (the wiki is). The Wiki on its own should be sufficient for being able to fully install Meteotemplate.
• I appologize for the very poor quality of the video content as well as the mistakes I made in the instructions/comments. I do not have a computer capable of doing screen capture, so I was using my friend’s PC and had only a few hours to record all the videos, without the possibility to edit them, record again in case of some problems etc. due to very limited time. I wish I could re-record some of them, but it was not possible if I wanted to make sure I at least cover all of it.
• I am NOT a native speaker, so please bear with me and I hope you will at least get the overall idea of what I am trying to say even if not everything is understandable
• I will try adding more videos in the future, but as I said above, it is very complicated due to limited access to usable HW and time possibilities.
• I was considering whether to include ads in the videos or not for very long time. In the end I decided to include them. I do not have a single ad in any part of the template and I do not want any ads at meteotemplate.com. However, since these videos are hosted externally on Youtube, they only show my work (so no issue with copyright) and viewing them might help me to cover the costs (and so help you as well since this obviously means I can dedicate more time to Meteotemplate) I decided to enable it.

I wish I had more time to plan this and record it and also better HW to allow better video quality, but I take it it is better than nothing and it is currently the best I can do.
