Hi guys,
I created a new plugin, which especially more advanced users will find useful. This plugin makes it very easy to use the station data in other projects or RSS feeds as it generates a machine-readable output of the data.
Features:
- JSON formatted data about current conditions and daily data
- XML formatted data about current conditions and daily data
menu.php has been updated as well to include this new plugin.
Enjoy

Hi,
All the RSS readers I’ve tried want the XML in RSS format ( https://validator.w3.org/feed/docs/rss2.html ) which is apparently a “dialect” of xml. Ideally I could use a ticker or something, although quite what information and how often it updates would be useful I’m not sure of myself!
Hi,
Could we have an rss output format for this too so that RSS readers can grab info from the weather station?
Thanks!
Hi Jake,
yes and no – I mean, this is exactly what the plugins is for – RSS readers, but they should be fine with the XML, that is what they usually use.
yes, maybe, but would it be a big deal to rename the index.php in these plugins….?
Hi Jachym
I installed the template from scratch again, verified all the permissions – still the same.
Now it seems that plugins that contain an index.php somehow mess up with the index.php in the root directory, whereas all the others (eg diary or units) work flawlessly. Does this seem possible, and is there a possibility to arrange that?
best regards, Martin
This could be some redirectino problem of the server, never seen this before… I would ask your provider, I am not a server expert sorry
sunMoon plugin is misbehaving the same way….
Either there is some strange configuration on your server or this sometimes happens when it cannot find the page, make sure it is correctly uploaded and has the correct permissions.
Hi all
Downloaded stationFeed folder into the plugins folder, updated menu.php – tried this several times, but it’s still not working.
The URL meteo.dubler.com/plugins/stationFeed/index.php?format=json gets into a never ending loop in meteo.dubler.com/plugins/stationFeed/indexDesktop.php.
Did I miss something?
Thanks for any help
Martin, newbie
Hi, not sure why it is doing this, try re-installing the plugin.
