It calculates the current day duration compared to the year’s longest.
Therefore, this percentage won’t get lower than 60%, right? (shortest day here is about 9 hours and a few minutes).
I liked the previous version graphic though, with the actual day over night duration in a 24 hours term, but it’s still ok…

Something is wrong with the day-night duration pie.
It says 77% longest day which is definitely wrong since my location has get passed the equinox, so the day in shorter than night at the given longitude…
