In this new issue of Meteotemplate newsletter you will find a summary of all new features since last newsletter was published, a Q&A section and also an important article about what is coming next, for which I would very much appreciate your feedback too. This is not “my template” – this is “meteotemplate – your template”, which means I want to make things the way majority of people want them to be so that everyone is happy with it.
Hi Jachym,
The newsletter is well done and a good weekly summary. I try to keep up to date on an ongoing basis but sometimes something could be missed so a summary (or going through the blocks and plugin lists) is a good follow up. I am sure it is also time consuming for you. I just had a look at the Jun 19, 2015 demo page and that brings back memories. Lots of information… but compared to 12 months later, WOW, so much work has been done by you since.
I enjoy and try to use all the blocks and plugins. However I must admit there are quite a few I have not opened myself for quite a while. I go through the menu tabs and try to refresh my mind regularly but opening and looking at them all is very time consuming, especially with slow reloading of my bogged-down pages.
Likely because it is summertime and less time for wanting to be indoors and on the computer so have found myself not uploading the most recent regional plugins and blocks, but I try to keep all my uploads to the current version. I look forward, or maybe not, to v.7.
p.s. Congratulations on the success of Meteotemplate. I know there were questions and doubts a year ago but time has proven the result of your hard work.
Regards,
Paul
